Box Office

 IN MY OPINION:

WILLIAM REYNOLDS:

THE HITMANS WIFE> BOX OFFICE <

 "The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard" nabbed the top spot on box office charts, debuting with $11.6 million from 3,331 U.S. venues over the weekend.
The Lionsgate movie, a sequel to the 2017 action comedy "The Hitman's Bodyguard," opened on the big screen on Wednesday and has collected $17 million to date. However, the film cost nearly $70 million to produce so it could face challenges turning a profit in theaters.

Thomasville

 IN MY OPINION;

WILLIAM REYNOLDS

THOMASVILLE PICTURES!!!!!!!

The film industry has picked up around Thomasville, thanks to the production service company known as Thomasville Pictures. The company doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon with two projects currently being filmed in Thomasville and two more unnamed films planning to be filmed later this year.
“There’s two new films this year that we’re going to bring,” said Allen Cheney, executive producer of Thomasville Pictures. “We haven’t announced it yet because we can’t do that but we do have two other films slated for this year, which means we will have done at least five films in Thomasville through our company Thomasville Pictures.”Cheney, a Thomasville native, and partner Ryan Smith, said they started the company with the intent to bring more production to southwest Georgia.

Come On!!

IN MY OPINION:

WILLIAM REYNOLDS

COME ON MAN !!

PHILADELPHIA — Actor Bill Cosby won’t be paroled this year after refusing to participate in sex offender programs during his nearly three years in state prison in Pennsylvania.
The 83-year-old Cosby has long  said he would resist the programs and refuse to acknowledge wrongdoing even if it means serving the full 10-year sentence. This is the first year he was eligible for parole under the three- to 10-year sentence handed down after his 2018 conviction.
