STARTING A NEW CAREER?

STARTING A NEW CAREER? THINK ABOUT THIS>

Do something everyday for no other reason than you would rather not do it, so that when the hour of dire need draws nigh, it may find you not unnerved and untrained to stand the test.

CRAZY RICH ASIANS

IN MY OPINION:
WILLIAM REYNOLDS
CRAZY RICH ASIANS:
When "Crazy Rich Asians" surpassed expectations and grabbed the top spot at the box office in its opening weekend, the film also pulled off another surprising feat: It put Asians of a certain age in theater seats. Younger Asian-Americans have been flocking with their parents to see the first movie in 25 years with an all-Asian cast.
For many older, first-generation Asian immigrants, going to the movies doesn't rank high among hobbies and interests. The crowds, the language barrier and ticket prices are often turnoffs. But the appeal of "Crazy Rich Asians," the story of a culture clash that erupts when an Asian-American woman from New York meets her boyfriend's family in Singapore, has bridged a real-life generation gap.>>>>Earning more than $40 million since its Aug. 15 release, the film already has a sequel in development.

TOM CRUISE IS 'HOW OLD" ..'REALLY"!!

IN MY OPINION:
WILLIAM REYNOLDS:

TOM CRUISE IS 'HOW OLD" ..'REALLY"!!

Tom Cruise recently starred in the newest entry in the Mission: Impossible franchise and the actor proved that even at the age of 56 (Seriously? 56? That can't be right) he's still one of the top action stars around. We're always up for a good Tom Cruise movie, and honestly, everything else the actor has coming up looks pretty damn good too. While a couple of them are the requisite sequels that come with success, several others are wholly original projects. We're looking forward to simply learning more about many of these, never mind actually seeing the finished project.

AS AN ACTOR

IN MY OPINION:
WILLIAM REYNOLDS:

SO, AS AN ACTOR, ESPECIALLY A BEGINNING ACTOR, JUST HOW MUCH ARE YOU WORTH???

“Ultimately, when a film company is looking casting an actor, it really is a cost-benefit analysis. Is that actors value to role, or the film quality  greater than his or her cost, or do the producers believe his or her value will ultimately be, over time, equal to or greater than the cost?”Mr. Reynolds says. So, just how does 'your' resume stack up????

The Crucial Difference Between Good Advice and Bad Advice

IN MY OPINION:
WILLIAM REYNOLDS:

The Crucial Difference Between Good Advice and Bad Advice
This is how to tell the difference.

“Everyone sits in the prison of his own ideas; he must burst it open.”
‒Albert Einstein
Counter intuitive>> going with your gut as opposed to taking advice from someone that 'actually knows' what they are taling about....COUNTER INTUITIVE>>> NOT GOOD<<<
Most people accept whatever advice they are given If someone tells them about a great tip, they jump on it. If they hear about an idea that they like, they think it is good advice. >> Most people have no system to help them determine the difference between good information and bad information. They rely on their gut, or their heart, or something else.

It may seem odd that I am giving advice and also warning about the dangers of advice. I get it. But I find it crucial to think and write about this. But, I was luckier than most. My advice came from my very, very successful relatives,,including Academy Award winners. The Event That Shook Me

“You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today.”
— Abraham Lincoln
Years ago, I attended a large event that was packed with influential speakers. One of them was an author who gave advice to people about how to invest their money in the film industry.>>During the same timeframe, millions of people had lost large fortunes in the movie investments because it seemed exciting. Many of those people had followed this particular speaker’s advice — and lost money.>>During a question and answer session, someone asked this speaker how he could still teach the same lessons when thousands followed his advice (or very similar advice) and lost lots of money.>>The answer from the speaker still haunts me.>>It was not his fault. He just presented information. It was each individual’s responsibility to make their own money decisions.

I was shocked. This person did not really care about whether the advice he was providing was actually going to work. He took no responsibility for what happened — for giving the advice that he gave.>>I learned many great principles that day. But one of best things I learned was that I had to figure how to tell the difference between good and bad advice — before my money, time, or life was on the line.<<DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH>>DON'T LET HOMELESS PEOPLE TELL YOU HOW TO INVEST YOUR MONEY>>>> LOGIC<<<<

CAN YOU EVEN FATHOM BEYONCE AT ( 218 LBS )

Beyonce has revealed she underwent an emergency Caesarean section when she welcomed her twins in June 2017.
The 36-year-old Grammy winner wrote a personal essay for the September issue of Vogue where she opens up about her two pregnancies, her relationship with husband Jay Z, learning to love her body and exploring her ancestry.
'I was 218 pounds the day I gave birth to Rumi and Sir. I was swollen from toxemia and had been on bed rest for over a month. My health and my babies' health were in danger, so I had an emergency C-section,'

Some actors are unreasonably cocky and stand-offish.

IN MY OPINION:
WILLIMA REYNOLDS

Some actors are unreasonably cocky and stand-offish.

In Hollywood, (and now Atlanta) a little bit of self-confidence goes a long way — and a lot of it goes even further. An overly robust ego is practically a job requirement in the wayward world of showbiz, and the industry is crawling with stars who could benefit from a generous slice of humble pie (or two).
"I am an actor and all actors think that they are The One," Scarlett Johansson told the Daily Mail in 2013. "It's part of our huge egos and makes us so successful in some areas of our lives and not in others." Although Johansson's tongue is firmly planted in her cheek here, she may be onto something: Many Hollywood stars possess levels of arrogance that border on the pathological, and examples are never too hard to come by. MICHAEL JACKSON'S ESTATE IS WORTH MORE THAT EVER>

IN MY OPINION:
WILLIAM REYNOLDS:

MICHAEL JACKSON'S ESTATE IS WORTH MORE THAT EVER>>>>EVER!!!!

Michael Jackson is richer than ever—nine years after his death.

RadarOnline.com has learned Sony Corp. paid Michael Jackson’s estate $287.5 million after buying its share of EMI Music Publishing.

While the paperwork is still being processed, Sony’s agreed to pay $2.3 billion to acquire EMI. It is also paying EMI’s debt of $1.359 billion.

Now, EMI Music Publishing is valued at $4.75 billion, making Jackson’s estate wealthier than ever before.

In 2016, the Jackson estate sold its share of Sony/ATV Music Publishing in 2016 for $750 million. Therefore, MJ has made $1 billion since the estate unraveled its interest in those publishing assets, according to published reports.

TYLER PERRY STUDIOS

IN MY OPINION;
WILLIAM REYNOLDS;

TYLER PERRY STUDIOS. HAS HE DONE GREAT IN HIS RELATIVELY SHORT TIME HERE,,,,OR WHAT?

Tyler Perry Studios is conveniently located between downtown Atlanta and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Situated on 330 acres of historic land on the decommissioned, Fort McPherson Army base, Tyler Perry Studios is poised to become one of the largest motion picture studios in the U.S.
