Busy throughout Georgia,
I have been traveling to several parts of the state in recent weeks and the film industry is bustling throughout – Columbus, Macon, Savannah, Augusta and of course Atlanta. The House Creative Arts and Entertainment committee held a hearing this week where industry execs updated legislators on activity.
Steve Mensch at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta: “For the very first time, I have no space on the lot. Usually we’re able to squeeze a piece of work in here or there, but we are absolutely at capacity.” Its the same story throughout Georgia. See more here.
