How much money is spent on the entertainment industry? Do you want to be a part of this?

 

Georgia, more specifically, Atlanta is now the #1 Film Location in America, Do I need to add 'the world"?

The U.S. entertainment and media market generated $479.23 billion in 2012, representing 29.2 percent of the worldwide revenue of nearly $1.639 trillion. In 2017,  2018 the U.S. is expected to account for $632.09 billion, or 29.4 percent of the worldwide total of more than $2.152 trillion, according to the most recent report. America makes up "now" almost one third of the entire entertainment industry in the world

Not a bad place to think about a career in there somewhere. Pays well too.

Can anyone be an actor?

Anyone can train to be an actor, anyone can learn the skills required. Personally, I think if acting ISN'T the capacity to BELIEVE in the imaginary and act upon your capacity for delusion, then yes, it's possible that anyone can be an actor. However, of course, it's not as simple as that.

It seems like the best way to reach a desired result would be to focus on that result, try to move toward it, and judge each attempt by how closely you approximate it. But actually that approach is far from optimal. If you focus your attention and effort less on the results you’re hoping for and more on the processes and techniques you use, you will learn faster, become more successful, and be happier with the outcome.

By default we tend to be forward-looking, goal-pursuing, results-focused. Why? Because we’re wired for a discontentment with the present and a striving for a better future. Because results are easier to measure and evaluate than processes. Because we know others judge us based on results and we tend to care too much what others think.

Reality ChecK: Communicate, communicate, and communicate some more

Most of the younger generation loves to text-message and use Facebook. But what they suck at compared to the other generations is responding to emails and answering phone calls.

It's been my experience, as well as many others, the number one reason people miss out on an opportunity is because they are horrible at communicating. More importantly, they are horrible at communicating through the normal channels most business folks are used to: email and phone.

Make sure you are on top of things and that you respond to people in a timely fashion. It will make you look great, and it will help you keep your clients and prospects happy. It could be the one move that changes your career goals.

While she never intended on becoming an actress, the mom of two said “for the most part,” she had fun throughout her acting heyday, yet often felt like she was watching someone else’s life unfold.

Her heyday was before many of you were born, but she was an A list actress for almost 20 years... Now a producer etc.

in that category. Bi-polar explains that...never know which one is gonna show up, the super nice one or the mis-fit.

Kevin Hart has had Tiffany Haddish's back for a long time. 

"I've known Tiffany for years man. Years! I'm beyond excited [for her]," Hart said Thursday night's Jimmy Kimmel Live. "I knew Tiffany when Tiffany was homeless. Tiffany was living out of her car and nobody knew. She was trying to keep it a secret."

Hart recalled to host Jimmy Kimmel that he found out his friend was without a home she wouldn't tell him where she lived. That's when he got out his wallet and gave her some money."I was nowhere near Kevin Hart today and in my pocket I had $300 and I was like, 'Here. I don't know what your situation is, but hopefully this can do something for you in this time because I feel like you're not telling me something,'" the 38-year-old comedian shared. 

Hart said it wasn't until some time had gone by that he was made aware of how much the money meant to Haddish.

"I later found out that the money she took, she went and got like a motel, was able to stay there for like a week, use a proper bathroom. Never told me," he said. "Never told me for years. Other people muttered the rumor. Tiffany got successful, took the story, I found out that [she] wrote in her journal about the relationship with me and her. How I acted as a piece of motivation in stand-up comedy because I simply uplifted her every time we saw her. Told her she was funny. Told her she was going to be a star."

About being an actor, or getting your 'real start' in the Atlanta burgeoning film industry you might entertain

thoughts of giving us a call and coming in to speak with 'me' William Reynolds. If you do well but need photos,

or better photos, or perhaps more training>>>> and you do well on your interview/audition the agency pays for

just about everything you will need. Maybe you are SAG/AFTRA and don't need anything at all.

 On the average>>> if you added all the roles, parts, film, tv commericals

or even modeling we receive roughly 100 to 200 each day...that's NOT 200 different calls, but 200 different jobs.

Everyone that does what we tell them to do,,,and keep up with everything in front of them, darn near 100% of

those that we invest money in will work somewhere in the entertainment industry.

Think about that for a minute.
