"Us" is shattering box office records left and right

Not only is Us being praised by critics, but audiences are going out en masse to see it. From the film’s opening on March 22, 2019, throughout its opening weekend, it has amassed over $70 million nationwide. With this number, it topped all over the films out this weekend, naturally, but also broke box office records for horror films and live-action films in general, nearly matching Avatar’s $77 million opening weekend in 2009

“His sexual needs were his sexual needs, coming from whatever childhood he has or whatever DNA he has," Streisand told The Times. “You can say ‘molested,' but those children, as you heard say [grown-up Robson and Safechuck], they were thrilled to be there. They both married and they both have children, so it didn’t kill them.”

Streisand, who crossed paths with Jackson during their careers, added that she feels sorry for both the alleged victims and Jackson.

“I feel bad for the children,” she said. “I feel bad for him. I blame, I guess, the parents, who would allow their children to sleep with him. Why would Michael need these little children dressed like him and in the shoes and the dancing and the hats?”

More jobs are headed to Atlanta, Georgia following AT&T’s $85 billion takeovers of Time Warner.

HBO is now part of AT&T’s Warner Media enterprise. Last week, the network said they will be closing their broadcast operations facility on New York’s Long Island and shifting some of the 200 jobs from Manhattan to Atlanta, Georgia.
