Each day Monday thru Friday we get an average of about 5 to ten casting notices for film/tv and modeling. That does not mean 5 roles or parts. Many times each one of these notices will have 20 to 30 different needs, and sometimes as much as 80 or 90. These are made up of "Principal roles", which usually means speaking. "Featured roles", which usually means non-speaking but definitely seen. And then of course 'background roles' which are extras. About 99% of these roles are legitimate parts or roles in legitimate productions.
Many of these are called in-house castings because we, our casting directors do the selections of the talent that we feel can do the best job and subsequently get paid. That's where our commissions come from which allows us to do the things we do. Which are pay for quality training, pay for quality photographer for those aspiring models and actors that do well on their interview. It is our belief that this agency is the only agency anywhere that does that. We prefer that new people to the industry of professional entertainment do their own research on agencies prior to coming for an interview/audition with us. Much like what you are doing right now by looking at our website. Calling the Better Business Bureau of Metro Atlanta, to check out the ratings of an agency that you may be interested in working with, or getting started with. We have an A+ rating, not many can say that. Not many at all.
As we are sure you know by now, Atlanta is in the top three cities in the country for Film and Television. More that 150 movies are scheduled to be filmed here in Atlanta in 2015, which would make us number two in the USA right behind, but very close to Hollywood.
