Why be an Extra?

IN MY OPINION;

WILLIAM REYNOLDS

BEING AN 'EXTRA'..'YES OR NO??

This is for all of you guys that hear this.."DON'T PUT THAT EXTRA WORK ON YOUR RESUME'.

Further this usually comes from yet another extra, same place, same time, same job as you,,,

giving free advice.

HERE IS JUST A SMALL, SLICE OF ACTORS THAT STARTED THEIR CAREERS DOING NOT JUST

'ONE' BUT MANY EXTRA ROLES.

Bruce Willis-----an extra in more than 10 productions.

Channing Tatum-----about the same. First one 'cute boy in church'

Brad Pitt-----also about the same. First one "Party Goer"

Re'nee Zellweger-----a bunch. First one 'girl in the pickup truck'

Clint Eastwood------way more than 10 while still in his 20's

Sylvester Stallone-----First film, background actor in "BANANAS'.

Matt Damon------Several including Julia Roberts kick start "Mystic Pizza".

Ben Affleck-----with his buddy Matt in Field of Dreams

and lastly but certainly not least>>>>

Megan Fox------several extra roles including "girl in bikini in the waterfall"

That is just a very, very small sampling. But another thing all of these actors, along with 'all' of the others took hold

of their careers and went way beyond the pale, beyond what was asked of them. Including but not limited to studying

their chosen craft and then when any (ANY) opportunity came along they jumped at it.

You simply don't get to skip a few rungs on the ladder, you take them one at a time,,, and when you stop.

YOU STAY IN THE EXACT SAME PLACE, WITH THOSE THAT GAVE YOU THAT WONDERFUL, SAGE ADVICE.
