Is becoming an actor worth it?

BFA in Acting. It depends what your goals are. If you want to be an actor because you want to star in movies, become famous, and be recognized on the street, no, it's not worth it. ... Acting is a very hard profession; and certainly not for 'pipe-line dreamers' and if not a BFA at the very minimum take some real (REAL) classes, not a place where the only qualification is your checkbook. But IF and that is a very big word IF you make it every dream you've ever had can come true. You don't even have to be a super big star to make a ton of money,,of which you should invest and not rush out and buy a new Mercedes or two, or three. You might want to hang on to some of that money for the day when you fall on your face. It happens every day.
