It's at the core of why you become an actor. You want people to look at you. You want to be loved by millions of people. It's so Freudian, but it's so obvious, and, that being said, there's no way to explain what the feeling is like until you have it all the time. It's not just getting recognized. People, especially those that really matter want to know and want you to know that you have presented yourself properly for the role, the occasion, the moment...Don't be caught unprepared...don't even take the chance...truthfully, had you rather look 'too good' or 'not good enough'???

My mom was a cosmetologist all of her life...she would not even go out to the car unless she looked like, exactly like what she was, a professional that was IN THIS INDUSTRY!  DON'T TAKE ADVICE
